PRESS RELEASE

NYTRO of Eastern NY / North Country ATV Association

Yamaha Awards GRANT of $5,000.00 to NYTRO of Eastern NY / North

Country ATV Association

Donation supports 2010 ATV Trail & Land Lease, as a part of ongoing effort to encourage safe,

responsible riding and sustainable, open riding areas in Saratoga County NY.

Greenfield Center, NY – January 28, 2010 – NYTRO of Eastern NY / North Country ATV Association is

pleased to announce it has received a Yamaha OHV Access Initiative GRANT of $5,000 to pay for 50% of the

Club's 2010 Trail and Land Lease. The GRANT was awarded as part of Yamaha's OHV Access Initiative

promoting safe, responsible riding and open, sustainable riding areas.

The GRANT (Guaranteeing Responsible Access to our Nations Trails) will be used to pay 50% of our April

2010 and October 2010 lease payments. “With the downward economy, I was not sure what to expect with our

club renewals this year. This grant from Yamaha makes the worry go away. We now will have enough cash to

pay our land lease and continue to give the area riders a legal place for them to ride their off-road machines”

says Bill Below, Trail Coordinator for NYTRO of Eastern NY / North Country ATV Association. The grant may

also free up some club funds to purchase additional trail insurance, so trail expansion off the current lease may

be considered. This grant brings the total club funding from Yamaha to $15,000.00 over the last 15 month.

NYTRO of Eastern NY / North County ATV leases 1506 acres in northern Saratoga County. The property is

open to club members to legally ride their ATV's, Side by Sides (UTV's), and dirt bikes. There are currently 21+

miles of trails that range from novice dirt roads to twisting technical trails. The club's goal is to grow to over

200 members and to start expanding to different riding areas in the surrounding area. NYTRO of Eastern NY /

North Country ATV Association is a member of the New York State Off-Highway Recreation Vehicle

Association Inc., and the New York State Trail Riders Organization Inc.

Yamaha Awards GRANT of $10,000.00 to North Country ATV Association

Donation Supports Membership Drive & Property Expansion as a part of ongoing effort to

encourage safe, responsible riding and sustainable, open riding areas in Saratoga County.

Greenfield Center, NY – November 3, 2008 – North Country ATV Association is pleased to announce it has

received a Yamaha OHV Access Initiative GRANT of $10,000 for trail development, property expansion, and to

Moak Detraglia, long-time President of NCATVA states, “We are very excited and pleased to be given this

opportunity from Yamaha. Our ambition is to provide a legal area for off-road enthusiasts to enjoy the sport and

this funding will allow us to improve our trail system. We look forward to serving our current membership as

well as new members. We have received support from local dealers in the past and now with the corporate

sponsorship, we anticipate great things for our club.”
